Do you have the skills needed to plan, produce and promote the Wells Theatre Festival 2019? The organisers of the Wells Theatre Festival are looking for local volunteers with the skills and expertise needed stage another successful Festival in 2019.
Following the success of its inaugural year, the Wells Theatre Festival is now in the planning stages next year’s Festival. Over a weekend in July once again Wells will come alive with an explosion of creative talent. Some of the country’s leading theatre practitioners will share their skills in artistic workshops, and national theatre companies will bring us world class theatre performances which will take place in venues across the city. To help make this happen, Festival founders Ros and Neil Johnson are advertising four exciting volunteer roles:
- Production Assistant
- Fundraiser and Sponsorship Manager
- Stage Manager
- Social Media Executive
Ros Johnson, Artistic Director said: “Last year we managed to pull off an amazing Festival with a very small team of professionals who volunteered their skills and expertise. It was hard work but I believe the success of the festival was largely due to the fact that we such a tight knit team working closely together. This year need some more support in these four important roles. We all do this for free but the rewards are immense and our volunteer team get the chance to work with some of the most inspiring people in the business”.
