AUDITION FOR THE NEW MUSICAL PRODUCTION OF THE RAILWAY CHILDREN
Wells Theatre Festival organisers are calling for young actors with good singing voices aged 12+ to audition for the chance to play the famous railway children Roberta (15), Peter (12), Phyllis (10/11) or their friend, John Perks the stationmaster’s son) alongside a professional cast of actors. The three siblings should be able to speak with received pronunciation and John Perks should be able to speak with a Yorkshire accent.
This new production from Hordern Ciani Ltd will be performed as part of the Wells Theatre Festival 11 – 14 July.
When Roberta (15), Peter (12) and Phyllis (10/11) move to the country with their mother, they discover the joys of the steam railway and make new, unexpected friends. The only thing that’s missing is their father. A heart-warming tale set to a stunning new musical soundtrack.
Auditions will be held in central Wells on 13 and 14 April. To register your interest please contact info@wellstheatrefestival.org
