Shed Ache

Today’s forecast includes brisk boogying, severe silliness and spells of confetti showers. With extreme movement travelling in all directions, we predict joy spreading across large areas.

You’ll need to hold on to your hats, as we foresee a high chance of slapstick, with all predictions pointing towards it raining snacks and socks.

Unpredictable and unusual conditions prompt us to travel hand in hand as we join together to soak up the silly.

Be prepared to be blown away by aKa’s brand new family friendly show which is bright and sunny. With 100% chance of laughter you’ll be reminded of the importance of embracing experiences whatever the weather.

Based in Taunton as company in residence at Tacchi-Morris Arts Centre. aKa are excited to be a small-scale company that creates works that are adaptable for a variety of performance surroundings, indoors and out. They are fiercely interested and invested in ensuring that the arts are accessible and enjoyable to all and love nothing more than bringing communities together.Since starting in 2014, they've been having a cracking time creating bright and playful dance theatre works that are loaded with colour and craziness, taking them out and about to visit a variety of audiences in a variety of places and spaces.

They have had an absolute blast visiting an eclectic mix of venues across the UK - Glastonbury Festival, The Place, Rich Mix, The Book Club, Thimblemill Library, Grittleton Village Hall to name a few, receiving audience feedback such as "wow, wow, wow" Casson & Friends and "Infinitely interesting" Anna Rachael McBridge.

This show is aimed Primary School Children from Reception to Yr 6.
